Fresh Finds

I know everyone is in the thick of Christmas decorating, but I wanted to take a break from all that and share some great junk finds. While this definitely is not prime junkin time, I have managed to come across a few awesome things in the last few weeks.

An awesome clock that I have already begun transforming.  (Check out this post for a hint of what it will soon be.)

A cool sewing machine cabinet drawer.  I have had my eye out for one of these for months. Love the cool ram's head drawer pull.

A huge stack of vintage Reader's Digests.  Such gorgeous covers.  I can't decide if I want to leave these as is or make something out of them.

An old school chair - adore the patina.

An old punched metal shade.  Can't wait to hang this cutie somewhere in my house.

I also wanted to say thanks to a couple of great blogs for featuring some of my recent projects.

So what do you think about my junk?  Any great ideas for those Reader's Digest books or would you leave them as is?  Be sure to come back Wednesday to check out my first ever giveaway.

I am sharing these finds at Coastal Charm and Knick of Time.

I use pretty Reader's Digest books to stack and place a small/short lamp on top to give it more height. The covers are always so nice on those books.
