I hope everyone had a great Valentine’s Day. Mine was pretty low-key but there was one exciting part. Mitch and I got ‘real’ photos taken for the first time since our wedding almost eight years ago. I am so happy with how they turned out.
(For anyone in the Roanoke, VA area, these were done by Amy Graybill. I highly recommend her.)
After looking at our new pics, I started thinking about how to display them. I looked around our home and realized I have hardly any personal photos displayed. Tons of unique wall décor – but no family photos. I think I’ve always thought that I would just wait and display lots of family photos once we have kids. But that is silly – we need to celebrate the now, not just wait for the future.
So I went in search of some great photo display inspiration. (You knew I wasn’t going to just stick them in a frame right? That would be way to ordinary.) Here are a couple of my favorite ideas.
How about making a gigantic photo print for less than $15? Find the tutorial at Sugar Bee Crafts.
Or use regular picture frames – but in a whole new way like these frames from Funky Vintage Lovely.
Now I just have to decide which idea to start with. For lots more awesome photo display ideas check out Wendy Vonsosen Photography’s Art Display Project. I also have a Pinterest board totally full of creative photo display ideas.
Any other unique photo display idea out there? I’d love to see them.
