Wow, this has been an awesome year of DIY!
Right now I am sitting on my couch, noticing the kitchen cabinets waiting to be painted, the lighting that needs an update, the trim that should be replaced… I am constantly reminded of how long the to-do list still is.
It is so much easier to see what still needs to be done and completely forget how far we’ve already come with turning this old 1973 ranch into a home fit for this century! This seemed like the perfect time to round up my favorite projects from the past year – and take a look at all that really has been accomplished!
I thought about picking the top ten based on pageviews or repins or some other super-logical method. But instead, I decided to just pick my favorites. The ones that have made me the happiest and made the biggest difference in our home.
Dining Chairs (Transformed with paint and a shower curtain)
Ikea Hack: Stenciled Bookcases
DIY Wrapped Photo Canvas with Real Canvas Texture
It has been a fantastic year and I cannot wait to see what next year brings!

Yes, our ‘to do’ lists never end but you completed a wonderful amount of projects in 2014. Love al your projects. The giant arrow growth chart and the planked wall are really fabulous.
Happy New Year,

It’s so fun to visit everyone’s top 10s and see projects that lit up the blogosphere, like your planked wall. What a show stopper! Love your arrow growth chart too and that whole black and white vignette! xo

Hi Carrie, I enjoyed your Year In Review Post. I absolutely love the large Silhouette Canvas and pinned this idea for my daughter who is having her first baby in April – such a great idea! Wishing you a Happy New Year!
