I cannot even begin to tell you how excited I am that summer is upon us. Long days, fireflies, s’mores, blue skies, a slower pace – summer just has a way of making anything seem possible. And it is always worthy of a bit of celebration. I am so ready to do some fun summer decorating, but it hasn’t happened quite yet. This is my last week at my job as a school counselor before summer break, so next week I am going to be diving into all kinds of awesome projects. (And yes, I admit it, that is totally another reason I adore summer.)
But in the meantime, I wanted to share some favorite summer goodness from years past. Pulling these little projects out every year always makes it feel like summer has officially begun.
Chalkboard Summer Bucket List
I’ve already started on this summer’s bucket list – I definitely don’t want to miss a thing. And we are definitely off to a great start. We spent Memorial Day at Grayson Highlands State Park in Southern Virginia hiking and checking out the beautiful wild ponies. It was amazing.
Is anyone else beyond ready for summer? Any other summer bucket lists out there? I’m always looking for new ideas for mine!
