DIY CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT-BIRTH OF CHRIST

I love to create ornaments every year. As my boys get older I want to focus on keeping the birth of Jesus front and center in our Christmas celebration. This ornament is a great way to do that!

HOW TO MAKE A BIRTH OF CHRIST ORNAMENT

Download and print out the verses from Luke 2. I have two versions you can choose from with the link below.

TRACE THE ORNAMENT SHAPE Start by tracing your ornament shape onto the printout and cut it out. Cut it a little smaller than the ornament to leave a bit of a border.

ADD MOD PODGE TO THE ORNAMENT Brush matte Mod Podge all over the surface of the wooden ornament and smooth the paper onto it.

When that has dried, brush Mod Podge over all of the exposed wood surfaces and sprinkle silver glitter on.

Attach small jingle bells with red string so it doesn't get lost on the tree. It gives an extra bit of dimension too!

That's all there is to it! A meaningful Christmas ornament that you can hang on your tree year after year!
