HOW TO PAINT A CHIPPY FARMHOUSE DRESSER WITH MILK PAINT

This old dresser got a makeover and now it’s the perfect farmhouse dresser with a beautiful chippy paint finish created using Old-Fashioned Milk Paint.

– Krud Kutter Prepaint Cleaner – Old Fashioned Milk Paint – Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint in French Enamel – General Finishes Flat Out Flat Topcoat – Minwax Stain in Provincial – General Finishes High Performance TopCoat in Flat

MATERIALS

– Clean rags – Cup and plastic fork – Paintbrush – 220 grit sandpaper

INSTRUCTIONS

Remove the hardware and clean the dresser well. I used Krud Kutter Prepaint Cleaner.

Lightly sand the dresser.

Use a plastic cup and fork to mix the paint.

Add the Old Fashioned Milk Paint powder in Sea Green to the cup and slowly add a little water until it is a good paint consistency.
