Welcome to day two of the twelve days of Christmas!
Today’s ornament is actually a throw back to an ornament I shared way back in 2011. I like to call this my Joy to the World Ornament.
This ornament began with a small decorative globe.
This was so simple to make. I made a small tag using scrapbook paper and a copy of the song Joy to the World torn from an old hymnal. (If you don’t happen to have an old hymnal laying around, I have a free copy of Joy to the World ready to download here).
I hot glued a piece of twine to the top of the globe for hanging, threading it through the tag at the same time.
And that is pretty much it. If you want you can also spray your globe with spray adhesive and sprinkle on a little clear glitter. My globes came pre-glittered and I think it definitely adds a certain something.
Check out what my fellow crafters’ are sharing today. Love these ideas!
