Tips for Printing Gift Tags
Before we get to the gift tags themselves, I do have a few tips for using printable gift tags.
- I recommend printing them on cardstock. Regular copy paper is just a bit too flimsy to work with.
- Once they are printed, simply cut them out, punch a hole with a hole punch, and add twine or whatever string you like.
- My favorite for Christmas is red and white baker’s twine. But yarn, ribbon, or regular twine will also work.
- If you prefer sticky tags, you can also print most tags onto blank full sheet labels and then cut them out and stick them on your gifts.
- My favorite stores to get all kinds of gorgeous wrapping paper for cheap are TJMaxx, HomeGoods, and Marshalls. They pretty much never let me down.
- If you don’t have wrapping paper you love, you can use plain brown kraft paper or plain white gift bags for a budget-friendly alternative. The neutral color really lets the tags and any ribbons you use stand out.
Now let’s get to these festive Christmas tags so you can start wrapping your gifts. Enjoy!
